The Drug Quiz Show strives to heighten school/community substance abuse awareness by providing middle school students with the opportunity to have fun while gaining the knowledge, skills, and self-confidence needed to make safe, healthy, real-life choices, including those regarding the use of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs. Each school participating in the program is provided with education material and face-to-face meetings with LEAF staff as requested. The “Show” is an exciting competition for teams from each school. The theme is “everyone is a winner.” The community is invited to attend.

The prevention educator attends at least one statewide meeting each year where information is exchanged and, as appropriate, this new information is incorporated into the curriculum.
